I discovered this concrete mile post close to the site of the old Lampeter station.


This looks like a BR era sign.


For those of you with layouts modelling the present - a typical farm UWC. (Typical of the Cambrian at least, although unusually this one doesn't have the bilingual signs).


A chance to see how they weather as well!


I think this old fence strainer post might date back to the days of the Mid Wales railway. It's just to the east of the Gilfach tunnel.
