Can you tell us a little more about what went into it and how you went about it?

The kits (still available from the Airfix moulds - still available from Dapol in the UK) are used with a lima shunter chassis the same as I used for my railbus build. The bonnets where shortened and filled with lead shot.

If you hit Enter twice after each bit of text, or after each photo; it will make a bit more sense.
I've fixed your posts for you.

Max, I use shift + enter twice at the end of each line to force the line breaks as the interface otherwise seems to ignore the second 'enter'.

Inquisitive me would like to delve into your project a little more and, possibly, copy it. Could you give us a little more detail of exactly what the donor loco is (manufacturer, model, model number if you've got it, etc) and what Dapol kit you used for the rebuild - (Is it the Drewry Shunter kit??).
I'd like to cost it all out, work out exactly what is required in the skill level department and then… make my decision.
Thanks…..
