I am using D&G couplings as I have used them in the past on a N gauge layout on my current 009 layout. Not wanting to use electromagnets I have used magnets set in the track. On two locations I needed magnets which could be moved in and out of the operating position. This is what I have arrived at so far. Hinge,wire spring and a magnet.[yt]EkA4dhhGs-k[/yt]

A very good inexpensive way of doing that good bit of money saving engineering there
