Heki Flor

Hi All.    Heki Flor has anyone used it ???  I have just been watching a YouTube video, and the Modeller was filling in the gaps between different levels on his layout. It really looks good for my needs? I need to take the angle out of the corners, between the baseboard and the backboard .   Please advise. Best wishes Kevin

I use it extensively for my tree foliage and for bushes Kevin and I’m very pleased with it.
I tease it out, glue it to wherever it is required, spray a light PVA/water mix over it and then add two or three different scatter colours to it.

Using different colours of Flor in random patches works well too.

Cheers

Hi Marty.  Thank you for another reply. You mention “scatter colours” is that some sort of powder??? Or different colours of flock. Trees are not something that I had given much thought to :???: .My intension is to soften the “corner” between the baseboard and the backboard along with the scenic break.  Best wishes. Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Yes, scatter = flock. E.g. the woodland Scenics ground cover turf range.

The Heki flor will serve your purpose admirably.

I find the more types you can mix randomly the better! Nature has no umaformatly in colours.
Have a play, if you think it looks good then it probably is.
