It was our 50th wedding anniversary today and we went with friends to the local RSL (returned services league) for a nice lunch.

Having said that, I have to say that I was spitting chips over a Peco code 75 electrofrog double slip. I've installed and wired up more than one of these over the years and I didn't forsee any problems… how wrong could I be… I decided to put an extra coupe of sidings and head shunts into my Wadebridge (sort of) layout.

It was all going very nicely until I saw that one frog was dead. Making sure that I had really a dead frog, I took the slip out and tested it with my trusty Multi meter. Long story short, I spent hours before finding a dead frog and found another DS that needed a wire soldered to a frog; no mean feat. Anyway, I did it, but I think I've invented a few new swear words along the way. It's all going nicely now and the next thing is to find the problem with the original one.

Anyone for bad language lessons, just pm me. :-)

Cheers Pete.

John,
I could have done without the extra lesson. :-)

So far, so good.

Cheers Pete.
