Scroll down the Recents page to find them

Martin has added a new feature on YMRC. Some live Webcam feeds. To find them Just click on the small blue link OR scroll down the recents page (Just keep scrolling down). If they don't appear to be working, just check the seconds are ticking on the timer ? At different times of the day they can be quiet, or very busy !Be warned they can be addictive !

If you know of any good ones then why not pop a link in here ? If Martin gets bored again he might just change one out for yours  :cool wink

Thanks Martin  :thumbs

Edit to Add, as Colin mentions below, beware your data usage when viewing the webcams over extended periods,  it can use up a large chunk of your  Data allowance from your broadband provider !

Cheers

Matt

A great facility but do be aware that these and the "Video of the Month" involve a lot of a Data and may create a problem if users are on an allocation of any sort. For example the Hindlow Colliery to Crewe feight run in HD was near enough 6GB and having a webcam feed in the background would be nibbling away.

We have 200GB/ m which got maxed out when we had visitors in July. Was cut back to 0.2Mbps which was no fun at all when I was expecting to enjoy two online Bridge Tournaments

I heard that there was a cyber attack over Xmas, and they
shut a lot of them down.

Several of the webcams seem to have gone offline, so I have replaced them with some live webcams from the Severn Valley Railway (a steam heritage line in the UK).

Bottom of the Recent Topics page.

New season's services start on April 2nd: https://www.svr.co.uk

The big upcoming gala weekend is 21st-24th April: https://www.svr.co.uk/whats-on/spring-steam-gala-2022/

More SVR webcams: https://youtube.com/SevernValleyRailwayOfficial
