As some of you already know I started a thread some years ago about Natural History photography which is one of my hobbies. I can't seem to find it at the moment but know it is in need of of some updating so will do so now. These pictures were taken over the past three weeks or so.

Kingfisher, Hooe Lake, Plymouth, Devon.

Wild Green Ring-necked Parakeet, Saltram Park, Devon.

Wild Blue Ring-necked Parakeet, Saltram Park, Devon.

Black Redstart (m), Ford Park Cemetery, Plymouth, Devon.

Meadow Pipit, Ford Park Cemetery, Plymouth, Devon.

Grey Squirrel, Ford Park Cemetery, Plymouth, Devon.

That will be it for a while. Will add to it later once I've found the other pictures.

Love the photographs – I've never taken a successful bird photograph so I can appreciate your skill.
The Pipit photo is the winner for me!

Camera is a Nikon D7000 and the lens is a Sigma 150/600C. If you go to my website you will find a link to My Flickr. Settings details will be seen on the images as you work through them. There are lots of railway material on there as well other things. Hope you find them ok

This got the year off to a good start, filmed in Central Park, Plymouth. Waxwings are rare here in Plymouth, especially photogenic ones. (Nikon D7000/Sigma 150/600)

Till later.

Nice to see the Indian Ring Necks are doing OK, some people think they should be culled as they are non native even though they have bred from escaped or lost pet birds which is not there fault.

We have three Alexandrines from a rescue which are a close relative to the IRN

Cheers
