Away again with the caravan for a weekends stargazing+ chance of an aurora+ 4 planets at sunrise!
This is the last astro camp this year and it is at Lofthouse about 15 miles North of Harrogate on the edge of the Yorkshire moors.
Very remote and very DARK, just hope the weather plays ball and we have some clear skies. Also expecting to see the Vulcan fly past tomorrow over the local reservoir as an added bonus. (seems to be flying all over the UK both days!!)
Report and photo's when I get back and it's the Peterborough rail show next weekend too!

Cheers
Ron

Hi Ron would have liked to have seen that, but you be careful in deepest Yorkshire, had a mate once who came back with his brain turned to pudding and spoke of mysterious rituals called clicky bat... Ian

Hi Ron,

Looks like a nice little picturesque setting. SWMBO and I are thinking of another caravan within the next season or two. Might be a wee bit off but it will gap open I think. Great times.

Cheers
