slow respose times when reading or replying to posts

There is currently a problem with posting on the forum which is being investigated by the admin team.

Please bear with us and we hope this will be resolved in the next few days.


 

Just logged on to see what’s happening and sadly I must note my comment on slow posting.

It’s just after 10:30pm here (CET) and I saw just a solitary post for today, this post being the second.

Now that’s what I call slow posting!

I feel as if I’ve just saw the chap on the street corner with a placard saying, “The End is Nigh”.

I’ll really be worried though, if I see the dolphins soaring into the sky shouting, “So long and thanks for all the fish”.

Maybe it's simply due to the IT issue of prolonged slow posting putting members off?

Response times are ok at the moment Bill, but it's still being investigated by admin.

It is unfortunate that the old forum software finally became unusable, but we are continuing with this new forum software and making the best of what we have.

It not really difficult to post on the forum using the new software and there have been some problems, but they are being resolved.

Some of us are still posting and it's really up to individual members to make the effort to support the forum and continue to post.

On another issue: The online counter seems to be stuck on '1 member 0 guests' or am I always alone 😥

Posting should be a bit faster now Claus and I've also noticed the online counter seems to be stuck.
