them things

So on your PC :-

when you open the edit box you will see on the far right an emote with sunglasses on. hover over it and you will see 'view ll emoticons'  click onit and you get whats available (at the moment) within the forum  OR at the bottom of the edit box you see a short set of emotes you can choose and then to the right (view all)

On a Mobile device you see Nowt cos you dont deserve any :) ok, ok  so your on a mobile device which has a virtual keyboard. The same as with whatsapp etc, it has built in emoticons which you can use and the site SHOULD handle them fine

cheers

Tablets must therefore be classed as "mobile devices" - I see no ships (or emotis ) on mine…..  I'll try on my desktop tomorrow……

it should have a virtual keyboard then Peter ? so when you go to reply or edit a post the virtual keyboard should open on screen ? If so DONT look for the Emoticons in the text editing box, look around your virtual keyboard onscreen and see if you see the smiley emoticon icon. Normally clicking THAT will open up a menu with available emojis.

failing that, whatever browser you are using, click on the three lines, or three dots (normally top right hand side of your browser window) and look in the drop down list for a slide button that says 'desktop site'  slide that to on and you should then see the normal pc desktop browser window rather than mobile window
