available in all scales
Here's something I've never seen before which has tremendous scope for something a little bit different on your railway.3d scans of posed people crafted into minature using 3d printing technology by 'modelu' which are then produced and sold in any scale 'N' 'OO' or 'O' gauge - each of them identical.
Came across this stand at the Nottingham Exhibition yesterday (12/03/2016). My wife… an avid doll's house modeller… had a scan done and Alan Buttler (proprieter of model u) is researching production of a 1/12th scale model for her to put in her current model of a shop… I've also ordered one in 4mm scale for use on my railway.
Being scans, they are perfect reproductions of the subject matter and prices range from £2 - £5 each (unpainted).
Have a look at their website for figures and railwayana currently available… http://www.modelu3d.co.uk
An example model produced from a scan - taken from an image on their website;-

Bill :)
At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)
