Well, as requested, here's a bigger photo of my village people. Although they're not actually mine, because I gave them to my father for his layout. [He'll be 89 on May 5]
Apart from the wise Oriental gentleman in the background [he's HO, probably Preiser] they're all OO scale Dapol figures that I painted with Humbrol enamel. I used an artist's rigger brush, appropriately oo size  :-)
They look ok from the normal viewing distance but a bit scrappy when enlarged.
