I will post pictures when I finish them.
I also found an old 1980's set of Airfix Luftwaffe Personnel in my box of bits which I am hoping i can mould into suitable railway workers/platform figures. Again, I will put up pics if I succeed!!!!

Looking forward to seeing the results. With the Luftwaffe set you may need to pin the parts together as the plastic on the Airfix bendy figures is very hard to glue together securely. Also, the paint readily flakes off and it may help to paint the figure with a thin coat of PVA glue prior to painting. Finally if you carve the soft plastic figures, great care is needed to prevent them going 'furry' as they cannot be filed or scraped like the trusty old Dapol figures.Inspired by this post I am currently modifying a set of Dapol platform figures in a similar fashion (my first set was already painted which I purchased from Ebay). I doubt my mods/painting will be as skillful mind!
I will post pictures when I finish them.
