Where to get them?

G'day Everyone,

At the moment I am looking at renumbering/renaming a Hornby Schools class from #907 'Dulwich' to #900 'Eton'. This loco is in Maunsell Southern green (not that this matters in this instance) but I want a bit of variation amongst the two locos in Maunsell green (the other being #903 'Charterhouse'). Where can I obtain Schools smoke deflectors or do I have to make them from Plasticard?

Regards Connor

Hi Connor,

This sounds like an item most likely stocked by Peter's Spares. They have a well stocked ebay shop and are useful for all sorts of Hornby spares. Not sure of their postal rates to Oz though.

Good luck,

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Thanks Bill,

Had a look at Peter's spares, they are great, I've bought a few things from them before like kits and transfers. I found a Schools smoke deflector but they only stock the left hand side deflector weirdly. Any suggestion on where I can get the other deflector or both.

Regards Connor.
