Hello fellow members

I have just been accepted for membership and apologize if this is not the correct way to introduce myself.  I've not been party to a forum based site before.

My main interest is British Railways OO Gauge.  I lived in England in the Eastern Region territory but also lived in the Midlands and North Wales so possess models from all regions existing between 1948 and 1966 plus a few pre-grouping and post '66.  I have everything I need to build a layout ad have just inherited a small dedicated room to use.  Only 8 foot square but I also belong to a local British Modellers club which has several large layouts for members' use.

I collect older European HO models from France (50's & 60's vintage mainly) although a few other systems have crept into the collection.

I also possess some TT Gauge - Tri-Ang (UK) Rokal (Germany) and Wesa (Switzerland).  As I am now retired I have a small roster of N Gauge just in case of the necessity of down-sizing.

I am looking forward to participating in this Forum once I get the hang of it!

Regards to all

Hi Jim,
Welcome aboard from a dodgy interweb connection somewhere at sea. You have a grand collection there and I wish you much fun in putting it into action.

Good luck and come and chat soon.

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the club. More than enough interest to keep the bank balance low (even with 64 square feet).
