What threw me was. . The first Image you posted up SHOULD have been the image you sent me, that I resized and sent back to you. As I edited it and saved it before sending to you it gets saved as I see it, I.E the right way up (the image I posted after yours in the other thread) The picture I think you actually posted was your original Image, on your machine which the gallery software re sized as it uploaded it (As I was sure it should) but displayed as it was taken I.E upside down. The Image here was taken on its side, so would upload and display on its side.
If I had done the editing on my computer I would have noticed the upside down Image and mentioned it. As it was I'm trying to use the Ipad so I understand how things work better and it just auto rotates the Image to how you saw it when you took it never mind which way the camera was up.
Solutions
1 - The easiest, Always take pictures on your Ipad LANDSCAPE and make sure the camera lense on the back is at the TOP of the tablet.
2- lock your tablet display so if you turn the tablet to take a picture you will know as the picture will display right way up, on its side or upside down, depending on how you are holding the tablet. But then if taken that way you will still have an upside down/ sideways picture
3- learn to rotate pictures on your Ipad. The problem with this option is you have to know you have taken it upside down, or remember you took it on its side and then rotate and save it. . And then know which of the Images is the rotated one which to be honest can be done but Apple for some reason dont make an easy task.
In your case I would go with option 1 OR
4- get your laptop working ! :)
Email me if you want to explore option 4 ( if you choose option 2 or 3 I will need to go lay down in a dark room first )
Cheers
Matt

It was locked and the pass code went to her grave with her.
I contacted Apple, and as the receipt had been lost, I supplied them with a copy of the death Certificate and a sworn statement from the executor that I was the beneficiary of the iPad.
A few weeks later I was called by the Apple lady. I plugged the iPhone into my PC and she emptied the memory and installed a new operating system from her end.
No charge.

If I take photos with my iPhone or my iPad, I immediately offload them to my PC. Then I edit them with Faststone before uploading them here.
It keeps my iPhone and iPad clear of build up of files.
Once I have used the photos, they are put into a folder and stored in a 1 Terabyte USB drive. That keeps the PC clear as well.
That reminds me. I must do some housekeeping.

I had a similar problem with my 86 year old mother: her old Nokia died after many years of use, and as a very short stopgap, I gave her my previous phone, an HTC One X9. She totally failed to get on with the touch screen and kept switching it off instead of sending it into screensaver mode. She then tried an advertised "Simple" phone which, when it arrived, even I had difficulty navigating its torturous menu systems.Kevin My Mother dear went into her local phone shop for a simple new phone and came out with a very expensive all singing all dancing phone. She couldn't get past the start screen so I told her to ring the shop. They told her to go online on the phone and read the manual. So I gave her a list of questions to ask and told her to go back to the shop. After an hour of the shop staff trying to show her how to go online to serf the net, take photos and email them, store her photos in the cloud, download and play music and videos. . .She came out with a refund, a simple phone that makes calls and sends texts and three months free credit. . .Then the staff went for therapy
I know my mother
I then spotted that Nokia have recently gone back to basics with a model 3310 (https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/nokia-3310), which had the added benefit of being very cheap to buy ($AU47 at BigW, locked to Optus, which she was already using anyway).
We haven't looked back since! It is very similar in style and behaviour to her old phone, so she is happy.
