Heavy handed in removing bodyshell

Hi All.   I was somewhat heavy handed when I removed the bodyshell of my 2 Hal, and now when I try to replace it. It looks good to go, but, it isn’t. Is this a “bin job “? Or can I or someone else fix it. Best wishes Kevin PS the moral of this tale is go to the expert in the first place.  Best wishes Kevin

Hi Petermac.  Thank you for your reply. I believe that I have damaged one or more of those plastic bits, that is where the heavy handed comes in, that holds it together. And such a nice Loco it is. Best wishes Kevin

Well I certainly wouldn't bin it Kevin. I'm sure there will be a way to secure the body even if the lugs HAVE snapped off. It's a nice looking unit so worth trying to secure it. Without seeing pictures it's difficult to advise though. If you get no joy with Hornby ( which I very much doubt you will) drop me a pm and we will see what can be done  :thumbs
Cheers
