Faffing around and not getting anywhere
Hi All. Seriously "Oiling Bachmann Locos", I have been buying Locos, Track, Rolling Stock and all the bits and pieces required to build a Model Railway, but it occurs to me I had better purchase some oil.My question is. "Which is the Oil to do the job"? Now 40 odd years ago, it was simple, buy a bottle from the local model/toy shop, with a short rod stuck in the cork. Apply a drop here and there, hey presto, done.Is it the same way now?? All the best. Kevin

Like Ted I've got some sewing machine oil, but I think I've only used a few drops twice in the last three years.
You could probably get a small bottle from a local sewing machine shop, should be some in your part of London.
I have looked at this in the past though and was wondering if anyone has ever used it.
