New subject or not?

Hi All.   I haven’t been feeling myself lately, and I cannot remember if I have asked this before. But when Barry visitedme and sorted my wiring/ soldering problem, I had the very same point, but “ turned Charlie “ and didn’t bother to ask the man himself. But it would seem straightforward to use Peco’s own point motors? Or is there a better choice? Best wishes Kevin

Kevin, you can use any turnout motor as long as they have a set of changeover contacts to enable frog switching.

Hi Ron.  Thank you for your reply. If I experimented with wire in tube would I be able to control the points without buying the “ noisy motors “ ?   Best wishes Kevin

Yes as long as you use a slide switch connected the wire & the slide switch has contacts.
