Stall motor switch machine

Hi All,

Came across a small (1/4 of the size of a Tortoise and 1/3 the size of a Cobalt) stall motor switch machine called "The Mole" from Proto 87 (http://www.proto87.com/model-railroad-mole-switch-machine.html)

"The Mole" fits under the baseboard or in a 1.5" deep hole on the top (hence "The Mole"). It has a built in frog-switcher SPDT, 12v DC, 30mAmp power draw. $12.95, a switching relay for up to 5amp DC or 8amp DCC is $4.95.

I have no connection with the company.

Nigel

Sounds like an interesting alternative to traditional methods. Wonder if MERG electronics will work it. I'm all in favour of not crwaling under baseboards.

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not sure.
