Hi all,          Bachmann Farish 0 6 0 N gauge 08, how to DCC the chassis, reason i ask is because a certain company i forget there name, is selling the tram Glyn loco at around £149, or, £139, depending on green or black, three names offered in both colors, but, if i go for them, i think i would like to go DCC and keep that way of working seeing as Bachmann are to release their WW1 ROD loco, mmmmmm, is it 2 6 0 or 4 6 0, i forget, still, they to are offering around 5 variants at around £140 ish, and DCC, can`t remember if its 6 8 or 21 pin socket, still, thats off the subject, 0 6 0 08 shunter chassis??, and if not to hard to do, anyone give me an account and some pics if poss of how you go about it, thanks kindly………….
                                                             Very best regards to all………………Tom……:);-).

Hi Tom,

Log on to TCSdcc.com, Installation Pictures, N-Scale Installations, Bachmann BachFar 08. You will need the kit to modify the lower brush holders. The link is

Thanks all, had a look at the link, i am thinking of just staying with DC, reason, i am of an age that i understand this type of control and, going DCC will entail a greater outlay and more alteration of chassis which, my hands now a days, realy can not do to well, still, many thanks for the help.

                                                       Best regards to all,   Tom………….:);-)

Hi Tom,

I k now how you feel, for me the twitch of moving up to the senior scale gets stronger as the years go by. If you're running one or 2 engines DC cab control is fine, and the size of the speakers in an N-gauge engine doesn't justify DCC sound.
