I live in Stockport. I have had sound decoders and lights fitted very well by various folk but I have always mailed my locos and of course this all adds to the cost and time. I have not yet found anyone in the Cheshire, Stockport, Gtr Manchester area who does this - there must be someone out there in the third largest city in the UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did try myself once and almost succeeded but then there was a nasty puff of smoke and that was the end of an expensive sound decoder!! I must learn but don't have much time at the moment.
Can anyone recommend someone who can fit lights and sound decoders to locos?
