It was Paul that inspired me with his great articles in the Hornby Mag's. I did it under my own steam with this one as I didn't get the Mag' with the article. I've noticed that the Loco' gives a small lurch just as it comes to a stand. DC is disabled and all wheels, pickups and track are clean, as are the backs of the wheels.
Anyway, here it is… twentieth century fox, it ain't.

Thanks for the explanation -:thumbs somewhat equivalent to the "stay alive" decoders. With a little bit of extra circuitry, which is included in some decoders like the MX645, a cap' will help to overcome dead spots on the track like dead frogs (yuk) a spot or two of dirt etc. They come in handy with sound decoders, because they help prevent a decoder going back to a start uo sequence because of a bad connection.

As for the camcorder Col Stephens, it's an old Canon digital tape. It's about a hundred years old, but still works fine as you can see.
I'll put up a link or two so you can see the quality properly. Who needs new gear.
The first one's just trains going round on my old 'nearly' layout, before we moved up to Bribie Island.

The others are parts 1 and 2

Hope you like them.
Edited to say that the jerkiness ain't the camera, it must be the upload/download or summink speed.
