I want to hear my 'streak'!

Through a mix up with Hattons I received 2 A4's yesterday! A Hornby A4 Railroad Mallard DCC fitted and a Bachmann A4 Wild Swan Dcc ready. At first I was going to keep the Hornby with DCC but I liked the look of the Bahmann loco!
Eventually decided after ringing Digitrains to keep the Bachmann and get sound added and send the Hornby back to Hattons.
Right decision??

I have both Hornby and Bachmann A4's and both are equally good - nothing to choose between them in my humble opinion.

I've never heard either but the Bachmann model is probably better detailed than the Hornby Railroad version. They are in two different market niches. ( I'll say that before I am corrected ) however I would imagine as far as your choice of sound goes the Digitrains sound file would be better. Just my guess.
