A superb example of Victorian architecture - Sir George Gilbert Scott's Midland Grand Hotel. It's hard to tell where the hotel finishes and the station begins, so well is the whole integrated. After years of use as offices and neglect, it now a hotel once again. I guess if I ever win the lottery it would be nice to stay there.
A real challenge for the modeller this one. Even a scaled down version should keep Allan Downes busy for a while……..
