These are modern day Llandrindod Wells but you can see the underlying Victorian architecture hasn't changed too much. I think that the cream bricks were probably imported after the railway arrived in the town to give the buildings a more refined image in keeping with a genteel spa town. They make for an interesting contrast with the red/orange bricks.
