Although now a fair distance from the nearest track, old maps show this building to have once been railway connected via a siding. The siding ran through the building at low level to the rear - where the bricked up section is. This substantial building seems to have had varying uses during it's life, including being part of a sawmill, and station tavern stores. It's now a furniture auction house and warehouse. The front has obviously been altered over the years but the sides appear to be substantially original.
