Historic buildings located on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour (The Rocks) and along the Parramatta River

These next two are situated across the road from Manly Pier, practically dockside ! Some great brickwork and cornice detail.

The next few pics are of commercial/industrial ventures along the river.

Cheers, Gary.

Great pictures Gary. The last two look like a hydraulic pumping station. Do you know anything about its use and history?

The last two pics are of the pump house on Cockatoo Island, used for pumping out the dry dock, (Sutherland Dock, see here https://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en) . Between 1857 and 1991, Cockatoo Island was Australia's biggest shipyard, building all types of vessels including navy ships. Many repairs were also taken out there during the war years. The two pics above the pump house are the opposite (eastern) side of the island.
