A large watermill in Stamford Bridge, East Yorkshire.























The tail race.  Both wheels are still in situ and the one on the right  is still working.  For the fairly short period the mill was a pub, they  generated some electricity for a few lights from the wheel.  It was a  strange feeling standing on heavy glass panels over the revolving wheel  !!!
