Painted, corroded or otherwise
Situated on the other side of Bolton Street Bridge, near the station in Bury, this nondescript corrugated hut shows a wealth of detail. Its interesting to see that the last painters took the trouble to paint it in British Railways 'house' colours, now chipped and faded, rather than the usual all-over maroon or black. There's a wealth on detail in its surroundings too, from the rotting sleepers which support it to the uniform monotone of the retaining wall with its years of accumulated grime, though it does look like someone went overboard with the static grass above it!:
Ooh! Look! The end's fallen off!
