Hi Terry,

First class job you've done on the mill. Really looks the part.

Terry…that's great…I found a US company that makes US style ghost signs so your UK ghost sign link fills a gap for me.

Cheers

By coincidence, another method of doing faded signs arrived via Model Railroad Hobbyist the other day.

Creating faded painted signs on brick buildings - the MRH Forum

I suppose one could use any sign one wanted whereas it seems Sankey and Ghost Signs only offer what they've produced.

That Reckitts Starch one looks great Terry. :thumbs  A "Bile Beans" sign would take me back to my youth.  There was a shop close to our school which sported the sign on the gable wall.  It was there for donkey's years and only recently, unfortunately, painted out.  Being in York, I'd have thought it would have been a listed piece …………

Thanks Toto, Gene and Peter.

Peter, for your Bile Beans advert, go to the Sankey Scenics link and scroll down the page to the Ghost Signs.  Bile Beans is in the bottom right hand corner of the sheet.
