They look brilliant as usual, must take you ages and you must have the patience of a saint (as the old saying goes).

This was done using a home made stone press embedded in to pyruma fire cement.
Once you have the press made, it only takes a few minutes to produce an entire wall.

Can you remember what you used for the barge boards in that lovely stone building in the 2nd shot Allan - it looks very "Stamford" like stone but the barge boards really do look like the grainy heavy weathered boards so common on such buildings. thumbs:thumbs
The sad looking barn roof is also a little masterpiece. Is the barn walling Pyruma too ?

Sorry about the late reply Peter, computer problems !Not a bad effort Mr Downes, really not too bad at all. A little more practice and you might be able to make a living out of these things ……….

The barge boards were nothing more high tec than being cut out of 40thou styrene - just draw the shape you want and away you go.
All the walling was Pyruma, even the roadways.
Anyway, more Pyruma cottages where the stonework was worked up using a guitar pic - these buildings appeared in the Constructor in ancient times !
Cheers..
