Work in Progress on new kit

Started construction on the next kit. This is the Rowley Goods Shed that is at Beamish Open Air Museum

It is going to be available in several versions some of which will be available free in British Railway Modelling magazine. All will have a detailed interior as shown in this photo

I've just been informed that although the station buildings are from Rowley the goods shed is from Alnwick. So this topic should really be called Alnwick Goods Shed

Would you like me to change it, Brian?

Hi Brian,

So far the shed is looking very good. The interior is quite nicely detailed. Will the kit come with an inside jib (crane) ?

Cheers, Gary.

Looking at the crane I think the detail would be too fine to reproduce in card plus I can't all of it in the photos of the inside of the shed.

Excellent kit Brian. The timber truss looks superbly detailed with the graining and weathering. Very nice model indeed ! :thumbs

Excellent kit! Having been to Beamish just a couple of weeks ago, it's certainly recognisable! Nicely done. I have enjoyed watching along with the kit's development.
