As usual well presented magazine packed with very usefull articles i must say Model Rail and Hornby magazine in my opinion are far ahead of the other competition in model railway mags in the UK.
One notable feature
Congratulations Frank for Winning second prize in the Dremel competition With Pen Y Bont (should have been first really)
Nice to see reconition of a great layout and guess what its appearing at some KernowYMR model rail show next year i wonder where that is:hmm
another thing this month you recieve an 80 minute DVD with it and part of the DVD is Dave Shakespears Tetley mills so you can see Dave`s layout in action aswell as the great photos he has posted here.
Also in the News Heljan next year are Going to realease the Lion which is an obvious follow on from the succesfull realeses of the Falcon and the Kestral.
Also they are going to realease a baby Deltic. Plus one that i feel will be popular a Br Railbus .
There is an article called "Why we need the City of Truro" now to me this is a gentle push or shove from the modelling media at manufactureres im sure this push is actually occuring from certain retailers aswell i wonder if a person who likes blue diesals can shine any more light on this?
cheers Brian

All news to me Brian,
I haven't seen it yet I get mine from the newsgents and the
stagecoach only calls at Telford on Wednesdays!
I never knew it was in any sort of competition never mind won a prize!
I still haven't had any confirmation from Model Rail about anything like that so your post is the first I've heard of it.
Can't wait to get my copy and see which pictures they decided to publish.
