Well although I haven't seen the said article, its only taken Model Rail 12 months from the photo shoot to get round to publish what should have been in the pre Warley issue last year along with Ashwood Basin.

I think if Pattingham is good enough I might try another magazine.:hmm

Looking forward to getting my copy soon so I can see what sort of job they have made of your layout Mike. Having seen Ashwood end in the flesh so to speak I hope the article on Lenches is as good!

Talking of Model Rail, I'm still waiting for them to reply to my latest e mail telling them I'm ready for their photographer to come round. If it takes that long though I really wonder if it's worth the trouble.
There again, If they photo shoot it now, it might get into print just before the YMR forum/ Kernow exhibition which would be nice.

Have now seen the article and despite a couple of typo's I bought the magazine. I see they are also going to publish Ashwood Basin in a future edition, shame I now don't own either layout. The futures bright - the futures Model Rail.

Thought the name rang a bell when I read it! Wonder how long it will take them to publish RJR's layout.
