I think it's an "E-Magazine".

This popped up as an Ad on my website.
Anyone tried it?

I've just "subscribed" using a specially created hotmail email address - which I can throw away if the magazine turns out to be a waste of time or else has hidden snags.

Will report back….

I subscribed and the first News Letter arrived whilst I was still on the site.

I have not read it in depth but at first glance not particularly exciting. Certainly not yet as informative or interestin as a glance at YMR!

I agree Don, I also subscribed & was not impressed. So I unsubscribed straight away.

Now I know what this is.  It's the "Dan Morgan" model railroad email which once subscribed will pop up almost daily in your inbox inviting people to buy his book, take advantage of special offers etc.  It's been around a couple of years in N America.

Glad I opened it in a hotmail account.;-)

Things like this site are annoying you sign up in good faith thinking its something that may be usefull all you end up with is a bucketfull of sales emails.

Trouble is they will forward your details to others who will start sending stuff through.

I think we all have to remember free lunches are very rare.

The only publication of this type which I have ever found of real interest on occasions is Model Rail Express . Last Fridays edition had some interesting stuff on the different types of GW coaches that have been or are available and their uses.

Richard. A sorely missed member who lost a brave battle in 2012.

Hi Sol, so how did you unsubscribe? I cannot find a way to do it. My system is using Lotus Notes as the email provider.
