British Railway Modelling: Quite different from Railway Modeller. I'm not saying it is any better or any worse, just that it is different.
Model Rail Magazine: The same remarks apply to Model Rail Magazine as in the previous comment. You can easily check out all the magazines at any of the Smiths news agents and make your own choice. You may even like to take more than one, pennies allowing, or none at all.
Hornby Magazine : One of the oldest names in UK railway modelling. Always well worth looking at.
Model Railroad Hobbyist Magazine : An on-line magazine for download. This is an excellent publication which comes in two versions, a really big one, 80+ MB's and a smaller version for slower download speeds. Both versions are worth downloading and are of course FREE. This is an American publication so is particularly useful for our American readers and also for those all over the world who model the American scene.
Model Railroader: This is the way the Americans do it and I have to say they do it in style. Great models to look at and admire, plenty of hints and tips, many of which can be applied to this side of the pond, and a retail market to make you green with envy. It's worth getting one magazine to keep even if you never buy another.
Train Collector Magazine: A brand new magazine that has just started which might be of interest to some of our members. Not just collectors but to those interested in the historical aspects of the hobby.
Trains-On-Line Magazine: This is a freebie on the internet and the monthly magazine can be downloaded to Acrobat Reader for reading in your own time. The site has experienced difficulties during 2006 which is why I haven't added it previously. There are back numbers you can download and the next issue is promised for January 2007.
