Both baseboards have now been built. 70 x 18 mm frames with a 6 mm ply top. The traverser runs on reclaimed drawer runners from an old computer desk. I now have the trestles to build. Again using 70x 18 mm timber, the baseboards will sit over them in a piggy back style. Dowels and over centre clips from Station Road Baseboards hold things together. Usual disclaimer. Traverser will only hold 4 wagons and a small loco. No big trains on here. Next stage is to lay out the track plan.
