Stunning model indeed...
It was a pleasure to see a parcel sitting on the dinning room table today when I got home from work, in the form of an Adams 02. This is an exquisite model to say the least with a tonne of detailing. So a few photos of this little beauty…Well there you have it. A stunning model that speaks volumn. I have not yet run the loco, but I'm very happy with it so far !
Cheers, Gary.

I'm told these locos run superbly and are very well balanced. Reports from RMweb suggest they will go around all but the very sharpest of curves and haul about 5 or 6 coaches as they do so.
Enjoy!

As for sound, I better send Paul Chetter a PM to see what sound profile he recommends for the loco. ;-)
Toto, I might post up a video at a latter date, just for you !
Cheers, Gary.

Does it pick up on all wheels ?

Dave Jones has had the loco designed such that the "trailing" wheels on the pony truck pick up power as well as the "drivers" meaning there should also be no stalling on plastic point frogs.
Another ingenious touch is that the truck fixing screw is off-centre in a front-to-back line which apparently helps balance and wheel tracking no end. It's always been a challenge to et model 0-4-4 locos to balance and run nicely just because of the overhang which amounts to at least half the loco's length.
