I've just bought privately, a lightly used Heljan class 15 diesel, everything complete in the box with the exception of the instruction leaflet. Does anyone on the forum have one for this loco that they could copy and PM to me at all please?

Hi Keith ,

I have attached a zip file that contains pdf files for the 4 pages of the Class 15 pamphlet that comes with the loco.

There are also a few web pages that might be useful ( as to be honest the instructions and photos that come with the loco are not brilliant.

 Bromsgrovemodels.co.uk

This video may help as well - body removal starts at about 2min 50 secs

Hi Dave.
Many thanks for your quick reply. I don't have time to download at present as I'm just rushing round getting ready to go to the Warley show, but I'll sort it when I get back.
                                              Cheers,
                                                               Keith.

An hour and a half's journey from where I live Toto, just got there nicely for opening time at 09.30. Back home now, and unfortunately didn't see a single YMRC tee shirt! Where were you all?

Hi Dave.
Grateful thanks for the information. Having a number of Heljan diesels already, I'd been able to suss out body removal procedure and fit a decoder, but the spare parts chart was the thing I really like to have as a 'just-in-case' for part reference numbers, should I ever need any.
                        Thanks again,
                                                 Keith.

Er……..sorry Toto and Matt, but what I thought was Warley (at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon) WAS last Saturday and Sunday. I now realise that the "Warley National" is on 28th/29th of November at the NEC Birmingham. I think there's an element of confusion amongst some of us (especially me!), as I didn't know about the one at the NEC until I read the advert for it on the inside back page of the booklet they gave me at Gaydon. Talk about "Confused.Com!!!" I certainly am!
Anyway, now I can't see me going to the NEC one, as spendwise it's not likely to get the 'go-ahead' from SWMBO, bearing in mind what I've already spent this month, (4 loco's so far + A Lenz LH100 and 3 Lenz decoders)) so best cross me off your attendee's list for the NEC one. Disappointing that I shan't now meet up with any other forum members, but there's always next year.
