It's rather tall :05eek_2:

It’s 300 mm tall, it equates to 23 metres or 75 feet in real life.
I was going to make it taller.

Another chimney,I had some of the printed paper left over and found a suitable cardboard tube a bit shorter. Then another chimney, made from a kitchen foil tube and painted with burnt sienna and added 5 mm self adhesive letters.

Found this metal ring walking home, don’t know what it’s from but it tops the chimney off nicely. image.jpg image.jpg

you definately have a knack with 'bits and pieces'  :thumbs3:  reminds me very much of Bob, the founder of YMRC. he had a knack of re purposing various items into scenic items/ dioramas and encouraged members to 'Have ago'

looking forward to see what you come up with next

P.S. that ring thingy you put on top of the chimney, at first I thought it looked like the ring off the end of a binocular lense, but looking closer I dont think it's that    :hmm:  wonder what it is ???

cheers

Hi Matt. I was wondering what it could possibly be myself, but it does the job. I am always picking bits of stuff up and saving it because I know I’ll use it for something.

What about H&S. Fred could fall down from the scaffolding without railings.

Sub station made from mini inverter coil and transformer bobbins and resistors. All made up of course but it’s convincing enough.

Hi Claus. No health and safety when Fred was up there. ( I’ve seen him knock a few chimneys down in my home town in the late 70,s early 80s)
