Got my eye on a couple of footbridges as well. I like these because they’re made of metal. Ones a hornby ones a crescent. Under a tenner.

Thanks Ed. I’ve got a newer hornby chassis I’ll see if a triang body fits on.

Got some second hand hornby wagons on eBay £16 for the three, all buffers and couplings intact and weathered. Rebranded them to fit my theme with Royal Mail signs.

Those 3 Hornby wagons were a gift Graham.

Ed - you mentioned using Dapol chassis - are they any good ?  I'm thinking of changing the chassis on a couple of my kit built wagons.  They were apparently built without brass bearings and the axles have eaten into the plastic housings …………..

On a lighter note, this turns up today. £2.50 eBay, the postage was more.
It’s all metal and hornby.  IMG_6376.jpeg

It was ages ago Peter, but if I remember rightly they were OK but came with spoked wheels so I had to buy some disc ones.

I got the n gauge back scene, it’s 9 inch tall. The OO were 15 inches. Too tall for what I need. It sort of starts off with a yard at the front and buildings in the distance and sky. I haven’t stuck it on yet, but it’s the premium one and it’s self adhesive and made from polypropylene.  IMG_6462.jpeg

I was going to just have the two industries on the layout (Royal Mail and Eddie Stobart) but I’ve ended up with a fuel depot as well.
Just waiting for these tankers now to top it off.
