These would be mounted just back from the window and lit from behind so the building appears to have an interior. I was thinking either an office, barber's shop, cafe or similar type of business likely to occupy a large station concourse.
I think you used these in your Abbey Street Michael ( :hmm) - I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction ………………..

I get my interiors from the internet. It may take some time to find the right perspective and era. You don't want a modern interior for a1950s building.I need to print some images of commercial interiors to be viewed through the windows of my station building.

What did you search for ?
I seem to get sites offering scale furniture kits but nothing yet showing interior views through the window.

1950's British Cafe Interiors
Happy googling,

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

As Claus said, the trick is finding the correct perspective for your particular view through the window.
Jolly good fun though having so much to choose from on'tinternet!

i just search for something like tearoom interior, or workshop interior, or whatever, and then just look at the images. along the top of the search will be a selection of other choices to refine the search further.
Then I simply copy the image into Word and resize the image. often the pictures are not long enough, so I might duplicate the image and position them side by side, or overlap, until I get the size I need. As others have said, the trick is getting the right perspective. Sometimes the right image appears quickly, other times it is a bit of a search.

And so his post forces the page to display smaller to fit it in, just needs to be put in using the 'Add link: while posting so the link gets hidden and you put in a short descriptive name which gets displayed instead.
Ill nip in and edit later :thumbs

You can chop off all the stuff after the relevant part, like this
https://www.google.com/search?q=1940s%20british%20barber%20interiors
and it will still work. Try it.
( %20 is internet code for a space )
The extra stuff is to tell Google your hat size and whether you like Marmite, and which web sites you were looking at 5 minutes ago in which browser. So that they can sell this information to their advertisers.

Click on that and it opens a text box ( in it you will see http in blue, just delete this). Now paste in your link and say ok
Next text box opens and Here you type what you want to See as your LINK text. Click ok and your short link should
Appear in the post box.
Give it a try sometime, just edit an old post and try adding in a link to see how it works

Yes, it works a treat and is now added to my small box of IT tricks. So you can teach an old dog a new trick, cool!
Best,

Hi Bill,Hi Martin and thanks for your clear explanation, which makes sense and reminds us that 'big brother' is ever watchful.

Thanks. You can do the same with most web sites. For example suppose you want to order one of these online:
You will probably get a URL like this on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089B1PLX6/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?dchild=1&qid=1616012478&sr=8-4-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyNjJONVFNTDZGUldLJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNTY4MTA2M1VJUFNQUTA5NVIyTyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNTQ1NjIwM0dOTE9SOFZSNzQ3RCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=A2M1VJUFNQUTA5NVIyTyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPU
EwNTQ1NjIwM0dOTE9SOFZSNzQ3RCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
which you can shorten to just the part number, like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089B1PLX6
and it will still work.
