Hey Folks - apologies I've had a busy time of it of late ans struggled for time for the forum. Matt gave me a nudge about the performance issues so I'll take a look and see if there's anything i can do

I've made a few changes and based on my initial testing things have sped up considerably but that may just be an initial bounce so please let me know your experiences

Still alive, still breathing, just  my time is a bit tied up elsewhere atmo. I've gone  deaf as a ruddy post so I'm having to learn new communication skills.
On the plus side I can't  hear the Mrs or Alan nagging me anymore and can no longer hear Breakages terrible jokes

It's not as bad as it was, but posting has slowed down a bit from what it was when Jay breakage initially made the changes on 24th June.

It now takes approx 14-15 seconds to open a thread but before it was only 1-2 seconds,
I will time how long it  takes to post this thread.

On Edit - it took 16-17 seconds to post.

Same for me, could be the 'initial bounce' that Jay breakage mentioned, has just stopped bouncing.
