Didn’t fancy paying £16.50 for this 3D printed pump house.
So I made my own version out of a cut down old triang wagon and some plastic tube.

Hi. Yes I found it beneficial. About 20 years ago I was getting a dull ache in my hip and was waking up in the night with it for months. the doctor said it was rheumatism and suggested them. Within a week it stopped aching and now I take them when I need to mainly in winter.
I told my mum about them because she couldn’t clasp her hand together or grip anything, and within about 5 days she could clasp her hand and grip better.
I think they are helpful to some people but not others.

That's great Graham - so pleased they work for some people.  I'd hate to think the whole thing was a con but, as I said, they didn't have any effect on me even though I tried them for probably 5 or 6 months …………………

I did read a study on them years ago that said they weren’t beneficial, so I asked the doctor about that. He said if they benefit you then keep taking them.

Worth a try, my mum had arthritis in her hands and they improved her grip.

I've ordered some, so see how it goes. Tried Turmeric in the past, but it didn't work for me.

Ooops, back to the railway before this turns into a medical thread :mutley

Ye I know what you mean Ed. Back to the trains, I just bought a couple of bachmann low relief houses. As soon as I saw them they reminded me of where I’ve lived in the past when I was younger and they were identical so I had to put them on
the backdrop on the layout. Also bought a Morris traveler to park outside because my grandad had one.  IMG_7957.jpeg

I do like the Bachmann low relief building, but they are a tad expensive.

Had a couple of warehouses on my 009 layout.

Houses look good :thumbs3:

As Ed says,  good looking buildings, solid but pricey.

Having said that, if you cost building your own properly - card/plasticard, glue, cost of plans/download and, most importantly, time, then they'd probably work out as being very reasonable.

I like the Scalescenes range but, having finally run out of my heap of free 2mm card stock and therefore purchasing more, one begins to see that the cost of the download is just the tip of the iceberg, particularly if one prints on an inkjet printer (I don't now having bought a laser printer to avoid paying the stupid prices for ink).

Thanks, I decided to replace the buildings I made myself with cardboard boxes and buy the resin buildings. The  bachmann are pricey at £20 each on eBay if you scout around for them. Some are a lot dearer.
I also got these 3d printed low relief fronts for £4.99 each
and painted and branded them myself.  IMG_7963.jpeg IMG_7914.jpeg

Also the son next door had a lotus europa about 74/75. I managed to source a Hongwell/cararama 1/72 scale lotus from eBay. I thought it might be a tad too big but it’s ok.  IMG_7987.jpeg
