A Scotish compromise in 7mm
With a given area of two foot x ten inches to play with meant the kind of compromise where you end up with only half a castle so an impression was best I could come up with and here's that impression so far and looking nothing like the original !More photo's when it's finished.
Allan.

100 out of 10 for the modeling of the castle
7 out of 8 for the Spelling of Scottish…'',
Thank you but erm your spelling of modelling appears to be a letter short too and, the use of a capitol P in 'spelling' ? - strange…:hmm

Bill ;-)
At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Oh and I believe it's capital not capitol !!! we could go on making mistakes like this forever. Your modelling, / Modeling is still very good though!!!

The Spelling of Modelling ( it's showing as a red underline here because I forced the UK spelling) is caused by the fact I work for an American company and all the automatic spell checkers are set to English USA. I don't see a capital P in spelling although strictly speaking , there is a un-needed capital S, but there may have been a Capital P yesterday for a short time until I edited it, as I have a habit of hitting Caps Lock instead of Shift.

In which case it's best to make no comment at all surely and just appreciate what each other has to offer.? After all, this is a forum on model railways and not a forum on the correct use of the English language - or it was…
Anyway, no other country abuses the English language more than the Americans do. Apart from the odd model maker now and then…
