My neighbour has had to go into a hospice, his family have asked me if I can find a home for his boxes full of Triang items, locos, coaches wagons, buildings and other scenic stuff and quite a fair amount of track; there's probably enough stuff to build a fair size layout; however it has been stored for some considerable time hence there is some rust on the track (ready weathered?) the locos will need a bit of TLC to get them running, a Brittannia and ex SR  L1 do run also one of the class 31 diesels but could be better with a drop of oil, the solitary non Triang loco a Fleischmann 0-6-0T is sluggish as is the 08 (which has a damaged body) the other diesel needs attention, one bogie is detached from the body, (I can probably sort that out). Also 8 coaches including one Royal train coach and an operating mail coach, 10 wagons (flats some bogie some 4 wheel and 4 wheel open), three 4 wheel vans, one bogie van 1 brake van. Buildings include a station and platforms, signal box and a couple of signals, viaduct, footbridge and other bits and pieces. It mostly looks in good cosmetic condition, just needs a bit of oiling and running in.
I' m not too clued up on 00 kit, I've been doing N gauge for over 40 years.
I did query a couple of dealers, they were only interested in locos, coaches and wagons, no track, buildings nor any other scenic stuff.
I'm hoping to shift the lot in one go preferably to someone who can collect from Bournemouth - I'm 88 and don't get about much anymore. I've looked at prices on Ebay  and note that prices are lower than for similar N gauge items, no "sensible offer" refused although I'll need to clear it with his family.
I will take some pics and add them here in a few days.

Cheers MIKE
