Hhm…Not sure if it does a lot for me? I don't pick up much sense of enjoyment, he might be quite a dull party guest unless you want the 'low-down' on getting your butt kicked…

I suppose it reflects a difference across the pond. If one really wanted to get the driving a diesel train experience over here there are any number of preserved railways where this could be achieved on a regular basis. OK 20mph max, but US trains are not fast.

Being a small country probably 90% of the population is within a days drive of such a facility. In the US I doubt life is so easy.
