It's actually for desktop publishing, but it allows you to import images into your work . Then you can superimpose others onto it. e.g. start with a brick wall, introduce some windows and a door, maybe even a house number or a name plaque. Curtains can be added to the windows.
There's much that can be done because the program works with layers, and there appears to be no limit. With some of the fancy lines it can draw it's possible to introduce different patterns into brickwork to define floor levels or lintels for example.
Serif Page Plus and Paintshop Pro were both used to make this. Yes I know it isn't great, but it wasn't difficult either.
Plumbing, lead flashing, weathering etc still to be done.
