In itself nothing to do with model railways but I have put it here because I use it for model railway photographs. It's a free Jig-Saw puzzle maker. Turn your best pictures into jig-saw puzzles, or family photographs if it comes to that. The puzzles can have just a few pieces or hundreds, depends how difficult you want it to be. Anyway I like it.

Jig-Saw Puzzles.

Nice find, Bob.  Kate (my daughter) is very interested in this - and it might make some good family 'memories' turning some of her artwork into jigsaws.  Priceless  :!:  :!:  :!:

Bob, I have been using "Puzzle Master" (a jigsaw puzzle program) for years making puzzles of my grandaughter and such. Great way to use a computer. No mess on the kitchen table.

I also have had Puzzle Master for a long time but since I changed my computer with Vista I can't get it to recognise my pictures. Doesn't matter though because this one is just as good.

This is a cracking little program!

I have been doing a few jigsaws on my computer including one I made from an old black and white image for Norwich Shed complete with attendant steam locos. As one can make a jigsaw from just about any image file, it's far more entertaining than the traditional 'Thatched Cottage & Country Garden' jigsaw scene.  :? Great fun!  :D

Thanks for providing the link, Bob.

P.S. I did one of Kate Beckinsale too.  Nice!

Thanks for this one, Bob. i've been making them from layout photos I've taken. You think you know how your locos look until you try them as jigsaws

The last jigsaw I had was in a box with a picture of a puppy on it. It said three to five years on the box, but it only took me 6 months to complete it so I reckon I must be good at jigsaws!

By the way, I don't know if this is documented in the freebie program, but the little boxes in the corners of the playing screen can be used to sort and store unused pieces of the puzzle. Just click on one and it will pop open.

Despite what I think you're thinking, Tim, I have just finished doing a black and white jigsaw of a B17 loco hauling a train into the town where I lived as a boy. It was difficult too, being in black and white!  :D
